Both Ms. Boze and Ms. Barlowe are Accredited Members of the International Society of Appraisers. They have passed the rigorous Core Course Curriculum on Appraisal Methodology from the American Society of Appraisers at George Washington University as well as the Ethics and USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) exams. They also keep up with the latest information in the antiques and appraisal world by attending continuing education courses and antiques symposiums.
In addition, Ms. Boze completed the post baccalaureate certificate program in appraising Antiques and Decorative Arts and is a licensed auctioneer. Ms. Barlowe attended the Sotheby's Institute's Appraisal Connoisseurship Studies program in London, England which focused on the areas of furniture, fine art, pottery and porcelain.
